Lydia Laceby is a co-founder of Novel Escapes, a chick lit and contemporary women’s fiction review website. Since 2009, she has read and reviewed as much women’s fiction as humanly possible while designing, organizing and expanding the website from two reviewers to five.

In her spare time, she knits cute baby hats, would pick cheese over chocolate–if she had to choose–and regularly cheats on her allergy free diet.

Lydia has always wanted to write and began her career writing a soap opera at the tender age of thirteen. It never aired. Redesigning Rose is her first novel.

  1. Hi Lydia! I have a question regarding your e-readers. I have the basic Kobo and have made great use of it. I love to read and am a lover of chick lit as well. I believe I have you to thank for that because you gave Reno the idea to give e-readers to his clients for Christmas 2010. I’ve been thinking of upgrading to the Kobo Touch but am now wondering maybe I should go for the Kindle? Do you have experience with both of them? Whichever one I’ll end up with, I want to be able to flip pages quickly, go back and re-read bits (as I usually go fast), dictionary etc. Do you recommend one over the other? I am under the assumption that if I get a Kindle I can only order on Amazon.com and it is in US pricing vs. Chapters Indigo which is CDN pricing. Help! 🙂
